Copper alloy sleeve large centrifugal casting is widely used in hydropower engineering. Copper casting plays a great potential role in the development of modern technology, whether the spacecraft goes into space or intelligent robot into the deep sea; whether the computer device update day by day or the rapid development of engineering science and technology, these all need high quality castings. Most cast copper alloy castings are not treated with heat treatment, but are used under casting. However, a few copper alloy castings are used after heat treatment, such as beryllium bronze, chromium bronze, silicon bronze and some high copper alloys, which are heat treatment strengthening alloy. In addition, w (Al) = 9.4% aluminum bronze after appropriate heat treatment can improve the mechanical properties especially the corrosion resistance.
The heat treatment of copper alloy casting can be divided into three kinds. 1.the purpose for eliminating stress annealing is to eliminate internal stress by casting and welding. 2. strengthening heat treatment include solid solution treatment and aging treatment.It aims to improve the copper alloy castings’ physical properties, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. 3.Tin bronze casting heat treatment for elimination of casting defects when heated to 400-500 ℃,it will make alloy volume expansion and block the micro tin bronze shrinkage and improve its pressure resistance .
